Tezu 2 May: The election of the Board of Directors of Tibetan Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Ltd, Tezu was conducted recently. As per the society’s bye-law, 5 members have been elected as board members with Mr Wangyal Nyima as new Chairman of the society. The term of Tezu Tibetan Cooperative Society’s board members is 3 years.
Tezu Tibetan Cooperative Society was established in the year 1964. At present, it has 800 share members and 19 staff. The society’s activity includes tractor section, PCO, handicraft section, milk processing unit and flour mill.
