FTCI to launch first-of-its kind online shop:
FTCI is launching TIBETeSHOP.com, an online shop to purchase Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts on 25 Oct 2013 morning 10 am at Hotel Tibet Dharamsala by Hon’ble Home Minister Gyari Dolma of Central Tibetan AdminIstration and Special Guest Mr. Siva Reddy, Managing Director of GOCOOP- organization promoting cooperatives globally. As many as 200 different products will be available online right now and soon we will upload more products, which are broadly classified under 9 different categories namely Dharma, Handicrafts, Furniture, Clothing, Books, DVDs, Herbals and others. The online purchase can be made from 15 countries including United States, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Australia and China. TIBETeSHOP will be tied up with India Post and other reputed courier/cargo service providers for timely shipment of products. There will be free shipping for all E-Commerce products across India for order above Rs. 2000.
TIBETeSHOP accepts debit card and credit card as well as netbanking for payment options. TIBETeSHOP assures secure online payment as TIBETeSHOP is integrated with both PayPal (International) and EBS (India) for payment gateway.
FTCI is a member of Fair Trade India Forum. FTCI manufactures all its products in compliance with Fair Trade Principles. One of the main objectives of FTCI is to promote and market Tibetan handicrafts. FTCI has 15 member Tibetan cooperatives with more then 24,000 share members all over India.
FTIC has partnered with GOCOOP.com for this ecommerce project. GOCOOP is a online social market place for cooperative and community based producer organisations.
