Bangalore 19th June: The 7-day training program for the accountants of Tibetan Cooperatives and FTCI units concluded today evening.
Mr Choephel Thupten, Chief Representative, CRO, Bengaluru graced the function as Chief Guest. Also present during the function were Mr. Giri Babu P, Tally Trainer, Ms Savita, Tally Trainer, FTCI CEO; Accountants of Cooperatives Societies, FTCI Head Office and FTCI Units.
While speaking at conclusion function, CEO of FTCI briefed about the evolution of cooperative movement and how it came into existence in Europe and other continents. He highlighted that with the vision of HH the Dalai Lama and policy guidelines of CTA, Tibetan Cooperatives Societies were established and duly registered under respective State Cooperative Societies Acts & Rules.
In his address, CEO remarked, “cooperative system of economy is a non-violent and middle way system of economy, which emerged as a result of failure to meet the needs of poor people by communist and capitalist system of economy. The great Mahatma Gandhi made tremendous effort to promote cooperative movement in India. In the view of significance of cooperative societies, a provision on cooperative societies was incorporated in the charter of CTA. During the 12th Kashag, cooperative development cell was also setup under DoH, CTA in the view of long term sustenance of cooperative societies and to make cooperative societies more productive.”
In his address, Mr. Giri Babu P, advised the trainees to put into practice all the subjects that they learned during the training session. He further told that those trainees who are more knowledgeable should help the other who are new and inexperienced.
The Chief Guest KuNgoe Choephel Thupten said that accountants are backbone of an organization. He recounted honesty, candidness and diligence as criteria for good accountant. He further said competent accountants are those who can give advice his or her superior on account and finance. He also shared his view that it is advisable to incorporate ethical moral value as a subject during the training program to accountant.
Following the presentation of memento to the Chief Guest and Trainers, FTCI Chief Accountant conveyed a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, trainers and trainees.
The closing function concluded with a group photo of all participants with Chief Guest.
