Bengaluru 9 Nov: Members of Tibetan parliamentarians in Bengaluru and Bylakuppe along with Chief Representative, Bengaluru jointly unveils Tibet Infotech Solutions during the inaugural function of FTCI office building.
Before the official unveiling, FTCI CEO Mr Tashi Wangdu said, “Tibet Infotech Solutions, a pilot BPO project, is initiated by FTCI with the support from Tibet Fund. The main goal of this project is to provide meaningful and sustainable employment for Tibetan youth in the settlements.”
Tibet Infotech Solutions will provide services like translation and transcribing of Tibetan and English language, online teaching of Tibetan language and web and graphic designing.
Nyamdel, a 30 minutes documentary film on Tibetan was released and screened after lunch, tells about current status and activities of Tibetan cooperatives and FTCI in beautiful way. The documentary narrates how the activities undertaken by society facilitates sustainability of Tibetan settlements and help support its 25000 share members economically and socially.
