Bangalore 20 Mar: FTCI CEO and board members attended a valedictory function of HDCM students at RICM Bangalore on 19 Mar 2013. The function was graced by the presence of Mr Karippasapa, Director, Department of Co-operative Audit, Government of Karnataka and Mr Yadunath, Additional Registrar, Department of Co-operative, Government of Karnataka, Dr. Siddhanti, Regional Director, RICM, Mr Karma Sangay, Chief Representative, CTA Bangalore, and Mr. Tashi Wangdu, FTCI CEO.
Among the 9 Tibetan students who had undergone RICM’s HDCM course, three students have been appointed as Secretaries (C E O) to member cooperatives. Ms Tenzin Lhamo has been appointed as Secretary of Bandara Cooperative Society, Mr Dorjee Tsering for Tezu Cooperative and Ms Tenzin Dolma for Ravangala Cooperative.
Mr Tsewang Namgyal has been appointed as Internal Auditor of FTCI where as Mr Tenzin Norphel, Mr Tenzin Gyurmey and Mr Karma Tsering Dhondup has been appointed on internship to various units of FTCI.
Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM) is a nine month intensive course on cooperative management and administration offered at Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM). The course for Tibetan students is coordinated by FTCI and funded jointly by DoH, CTA and FTCI. During the course students have visited Tibetan Co-operatives as field exposure project.
