DOEGULING PRIMARY AGRICULTURE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD (DOEGULING, MUNDGOD)

This Co-Operative Society was established in the year 1966. It was registered under Karnataka Cooperative Society registration Act, registration number AR/RSR/527/1967 on 31st November 1967.

Units/Services Provided: –

(1) Head Office Section :- Office of the Co-operative function basically service provider, it facilitates Agricultural loan and all form of input to the members apart of banking service, It took after all the account of rest sections and all sections are engaged in providing service. Agriculture is the main income sources livelihood of our settlement, we are giving crops loan at Zero interest through KCC Loan facilitated by the GOK. All farmers crops are insured by paying the insurance premium, we also collect the harvested paddy products in return of recovery loan and also help in building storage facilitates.

(2) Workshop (Fabrication) cum Tractor Section :- Tractor section engages in ploughing the land time to time and transporting on credit basis with low rate to the farmers. The workshop section catering all the repair works of co-operative owns fleets of tractors, also provide automobiles repairs. It also overhauling serving of vehicles, manufacturing of doors, windows and more other engineering and mechanical service facilities to our community and also to local Indian farmers.

(3) Consumer Store Section :- General provision store catering to the need of members and community, the main objective of the section is to provide good quality and benefit from competitive rate and to control the monopoly of private shop owners.

(4) Cable Television network section :- This section provide cable network to all our community with reasonable subscription charges. This section plays a vital role in providing knowledge and information of today’s world to the different group age in our community. As we are Tibetan, we do focus on updating the news on our Spiritual Leader His Holiness’s visit and his teachings. We also facilitates live telecast of big events like kalachakra and GCM Tournament in our Cable Network. We also facilitate Voice of America, Radio free Asia and Voice of Tibet are three main Tibetan oriented Radio channels on our network.

(5) Building Centre:- The major activities undertaken by the building centre is manufacturing and fabrication of a variety of prefabricated faro cement, beams, water storage tank, fencing pool, low cost toilet, bathroom, concretes hollow bricks etc.

(6) Handicraft Section:- This section manufacture traditional based Tibetan carpet in different size and varieties. This encourages promoting/preserving of our Tibetan Handicraft by making Handloom Carpet and selling other products like Thangka, Tibetan fortune Flag and Tibetan Bags etc.

(7) Fertilizer and Garden Section :- We have fertilizer and garden section which provides fertilizers and equipments to the farmers. Garden section we have mango trees which on season selling to the local buyers and we purchase maize and rice from public and sell it to the dealers.
