TASHILING TIBETAN REFUGEE CO-OPERATIVE FARMING SOCIETY LTD (SONADA, DARJEELING)

This society was established in the year 1966. It was registered under West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act of 1940 & 1942. At present, there are 337 share members and we have 28 acres land.

We have 8 shops and out of 8, 6 shops are already booked or rented. 2 shops are still empty and Available. We have already advertised this opportunity to the public.

We have 8 staff quarters and 6 are already rented. 2 are still available for rent.

Income generated from the current activities:

As you know sonada nyamdel is not so good for income generation but we make some incomes from the following :-

Staff Quarters rent.
Co-operative shops.
Guest House.
Hostel Fee.
Community Hall rent.
Sponsor Donation.

Current activities at Nyamdel :

The Sonada nyamdel is best known for hostel. In hostel there will be some activities going on. All the class 10 students are staying in hostel for their extra classes for upcoming CBSE examination.
