1) CHOEPHELING TIBETAN SERVICE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD (CHOEPHELING, MIAO)

Choephelling Tibetan Service Cooperative Society Ltd. was established in the year 1968 at Changlang without registration as to provide the basic needs to the settlers. In the year 1975 the settlement was shifted from Changlang to Miao within same state of Arunachal Pradesh with the generous help from Ministry of Rehabilitation, Govt. of India as per request from Council of Home Affairs, Dharamsala now Department of Home. The settlement was shifted due to unsuitable condition to practice agriculture farming which is the primary occupation of this settler. Gradually, the cooperative was also registered as per rules of the state cooperatives societies Act, vide registration no: Coop(G)45/79 on 11th January, 1980.

As on date, the society has 14 no. of units, out of that, 3 are welfare units and 11 are business unit.

2) TENZIN-GANG MULTIPURPOSE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD (TENZIN-GANG)

This society was established in the year 1986. It was registered on 9th January 1987 under the registration number Coop (ORG) 25/86 under the Arunachal Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act II of 1978. At present, it has 826 members and 9 staffers. It has 7 units, those are as follows

• Handicraft centre
• General store section
• Fair price shop
• Flour mill and oil extracting section
• Handmade paper section
• Apple kiwi orchard section
• Dairy farm
• Construction section

Apple and kiwi are the fruits which are grown in the settlement.

3) TIBETAN MULTI-PURPOSE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD (DARGYELING, TEZU)

Tibetan Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. Tezu was established in the year of 1970 and at a moment there are 13 staff members and 7 Board of Directors. We have a total number of 394 shareholders. Main office is offering a banking facilities like saving deposit, fixed deposit and loan issues. We have Total of 6 units at the moment as mentioned below.

4) KUNPHENLING TIBETAN MULTI-PURPOSE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD (RAVANGLA, SIKKIM)

This society was established in 1986, registered under the Sikkim Co- operative Society Act of 1978 vide registration no 86. At present, it has 728 share members and 16 staffers. There are 4 units, which are as follows

• Carpet manufacturing and weaving centre
• Consumer store and showroom section
• Information technology education centre
• Crèche section

Potatoes are widely grown in this settlement.

5) TASHILING TIBETAN REFUGEE CO-OPERATIVE FARMING SOCIETY LTD (SONADA, DARJEELING)

This society was established in the year 1966. It was registered under West Bengal Co-operative Societies Act of 1940 & 1942. At present, there are 337 share members and we have 28 acres land.

We have 10 shops and out of 10, 6 shops are already booked or rented. 4 shops are still empty and Available. We have already advertised this opportunity to the public.

We have 8 staff quarters and all staff quarters are already rented.
